Photographers Ulrike and Johanna will talk to us about their  work at the finissage of their joint exhibition "Dreams and Other Catastrophes", shown in the context of 6th Triennial of Photography Hamburg. Join us on Saturday, July 18 for this festive occasion and unique opportunity to interact with the artists,  learn first hand what is behind their photography and ask questions.

YOU CAN HELP IN NEPAL THROUGH FAWCO!

FAWCO just initiated their Disaster Relief Fund for Nepal - http://www.fawco.org/philanthropy/disaster-relief-program/3313-disaster-relief-fund-for-nepal.

At the request of FAUSA, the FAWCO Board has activated the FAWCO Disaster Relief Fund (DRF) to assist ARF/LOMEF in their relief efforts to help the people of Nepal. ARF/LOMEF with extensive ties in the region, was one of the first responders to reach Nepal with an initial 50 relief workers already in Nepal. The priorities of its team in the field is bringing tents, food and medicine to affected areas. FAUSA member Kathy Coughlan will serve as liaison with ARF/LOMEF. Please give generously to help the people of Nepal!

The American Women's Club e.V. invites you to join us for our annual Independence Day Celebration. Join us for a fun-filled day with food, family and friends. This year we will travel by ferry through the Hamburg harbor to the emigration museum BallinStadt. We will hear a lecture about the museum and have a chance to visit the award-winning exhibitions in the historical emigration halls. Afterwards we will meet for a picnic lunch.
