Twelve-year-old Arco falls from his own universe into the year 2075. He wears a rainbow coat upon which a diamond is attached and lands in the world of a ten-year-old girl, Iris. She discovers him, takes him home for protection, and tries to organize his return to his original world. Iris’s parents are seldom at home. In the meantime, robot Mikki manages the cooking. Three guys are a threat, looking for Arco’s diamond.

Arco is such a wonderful animated film for everyone in the whole family six years and older. It has been nominated for many prizes such as for the Best Animated Feature at the ninety-eighth 2026 American Academy Awards (Oscar) in Hollywood, and has won awards, such as Best Animated European Film. Félix de Givry, who participated in writing the story, said that the Spanish world for rainbow (which plays an important part here) is arcoiris and therefore his two main characters are also Arco and Iris.
