Details: Caspar David Friedrich: Art For a New Age

You can’t miss it – with ads everywhere and crowds coming from near and far to see it,
the Caspar David Friedrich exhibition at the Kunsthalle is the art event of the year in Hamburg.
Covering topics including 19th-century Romantic art and literature and changing attitudes toward nature, AWCH member and art historian, Holly Todd Ph.D. will introduce you to the art of the most important German Romantic painter. Our tour in English will also include artworks by contemporary artists responding to Friedrich and to the relationship between humans and nature today.
Optional dinner afterwards, see details when logged in.
