one of the masterpieces of French opera. Blending historical drama with richly colored orchestration, unforgettable melodies, and emotional intensity, the work is especially celebrated for Dalila’s aria “Mon cœur s’ouvre à ta voix” and its dazzling Bacchanale.
With its atmosphere, exotic sound world, and powerful central conflict, Samson et Dalila offers some of the most captivating music
in the operatic repertoire.
