This month Harbor Explorers meets up in the spacious inner courtyard of the former harbor hospital in St. Pauli.

From 1900-1978 this hospital served all the needs of St. Pauli: helping with accidents with harbor workers, injuries from accidents and brawls, treatment of infectious diseases etc. It is now a medicinal center hosting medical therapists, a hamam, an opulent Turkish restaurant and a restaurant in the courtyard.
We will meet at Haus5 in the courtyard for lunch (inside if the weather is bad). Haus5 is a St. Pauli insider tip with a very moderately-priced and delicious lunch organized by the Alsterdorf Stiftung.
This outing includes a stunning view of the harbor from the top of the hill at Landungsbrücken, and a look at St. Pauli as it was 100 years ago.
