A Fundraiser for MamaBaby Haiti
Join us for a delightful afternoon of browsing books, sharing reading suggestions, and making a difference in the world. Good quality, English-language books (for adults & children) will be available for purchase by donation. It's an open house, so come whenever suits you; light refreshments are provided.
You may purchase books with cash or bank transfer.
Donations from this book sale will raise desperately needed funds for MamaBaby Haiti, a birth center that provides free services for pregnant mothers, as well as operating a midwifery training program, an orphanage and school, a mobile medical clinic, and various other health and community services. Their work is transformative in the communites they serve. But the gang violence and upheaval in Haiti is getting closer, making MamaBaby Haiti's role as a safe space even more vital. If you can't attend on May 18 but would like to donate to MamaBaby Haiti, you can send bank transfers to AWCH, IBAN: DE47 2005 0550 1502 5597 41, with "Haiti" in the notes. All donations, big and small, are appreciated and will be sent in full to Haiti.

Book donations: We prefer to receive books early for organizational purposes. But you may bring a few with you on the day of the event
