We are starting another round of work on the Heart Pillow Project.

We will be cutting out, sewing and stuffing pillows that will be donated to breast cancer patients at local hospitals.
When placed under the arm, these pillows help alleviate pain due to surgery and other procedures.

Drainage Bottle Bags will also be sewn.

This is an open house event starting at 14:00 and ending as part of our regular Stitch n Bitch meeting
at 22:00, so come when you can and stay as long as you can.

If you enjoy being crafty in a group and need to get your charity fix, come join us on February 6th!
Bring your sewing machines, needles, a snack or drink, and a smile.

Not a sewist? No problem! There are plenty of non-sewing machine jobs that are an integral part of
the heart pillow and drainage bag process.

The AWCH has donated over 1200 pillows and over 1000 drainage bags to various hospitals in the
Hamburg and Lübeck area. Help us continue this good work.
