If you realize you're unable to attend an event, make sure to update your RSVP before the sign-up deadline, or else you may be asked to pay for the event in full unless a substitute is found. If you're having issues RSVPing for events and activities, contact our Membership Chair at membership@awchamburg.org.

| Details: Due to a technical issue, images cannot be displayed. As soon as the problem has been resolved, the images will be made available.
Join us for a delightful afternoon of browsing books, sharing reading suggestions, replenishing your shelves, and making a difference in the world. Good quality, English-language books (for adults & children) are available by donation. It's an open house, so come whenever suits you; light refreshments are provided. You may take as many books as you like, and make a donation of your choice with cash or bank transfer to AWCH. All money raised by this book sale will go directly to MamaBaby Haiti, a birth clinic, orphanage, school, midwifery college, and community center that provides all services for free, and constantly seeks to do more. AWCH has proudly supported MamaBaby Haiti since 2023. MBH was recently awarded a FAWCO development grant to purchase a generator for one of its locations. We aim to provide additional help for the community center. Guest Speaker: As a special opportunity, we will be joined virtually by Carmelle Moise, the head midwife and motivator for MamaBaby Haiti's invaluable community services. She's incredibly inspiring! Book donations: We prefer to receive books early for organizational purposes. Drop-off locations are listed below (log in to see addresses). You may bring a few with you on the day of the event. Books to donate: We are grateful to accept your used books for this sale, but please be selective about what you donate. Ask yourself: "Would I lend this book to a friend?" If the answer is yes, we are happy to take it! We do want books in English, all genres, kids books, books in good condition. What we can't take: Out-of-date books, travel guides, torn or tatty books, old political books. Thank you!
