Details: Following its great success last year, the “Day of Free Entrance” at FILMFEST HAMBURG returns for a second round. On 3 October, FILMFEST HAMBURG will be showing 36 films in 15 cinemas, all in their original language with German or English subtitles. From Hollywood blockbusters to innovative art films, there is something for everyone, including two children's films. This year, they have again extended an exclusive invitation to the AWCH and allowed us to block a number of tickets at select films. Please use the registration link below to register for the film, Heads or Tails, for yourself and up to 1 guest. If you reserve tickets and cannot make the film please notify us by September 29 so others in the AWCH or elsewhere in Hamburg can enjoy the free ticket. Tickets will be e-mailed to you on October 2. SynopseTwo lovers on the run: an anarchic Western, which makes playful fun of the genre and creates new legends. At the end of the 19th century, Buffalo Bill is in Italy with his Wild West Show. A competition between Bill’s cowboys and the local herdsmen, the »Butteri«, ends with the death of a nobleman. The young widow Rosa then flees with Santino, the victorious Italian cowboy, who is now a murder suspect. When Santino becomes the symbol of an uprising of local revolutionaries, a bizarre story begins, a story of freedom that interweaves European and American tales.
