You are cordially invited to the annual AWCH Thanksgiving Dinner
as we celebrate and give thanks with family & friends
Our annual Thanksgiving celebration will again be held at DESY in Bahrenfeld. With chairs for 100 people, please bring your family members to share the feast! Babies, grown children, spouses, and grandparents are all invited. This year there is an entrance fee of 7.50 euros per person. Kindly make your bank transfer as soon as you RSVP. Thank you!
AWCH will provide delicious turkey & gravy, rolls, water, juice, coffee and tea. As usual, attendees should plan to bring side dishes and desserts to share. Please bring food enough for your entire party and additional to share. You are also welcome to bring a bottle of wine or your favorite drink for your own enjoyment.
Can you help?
* We need coffee-makers, water boilers and several thermoses for coffee and tea water. If you have an extra of either and can bring them to the event it would be much appreciated!
* We also need assistance with set-up and clean-up at the end of the evening.

THE DETAILS

Who: AWCH members and their families
Cost: 7.50€ per person. Please transfer your payment upon registration.

Required: Each attendee/family must bring a side dish or desert to share. (Enough for yourself, your guests and to share.)
Cancelation Policy: After Nov. 18, a late cancelation fee of €10 will be charged
Where: DESY, Notkestraße 85 is the address for the campus's main entrance
Getting there: Put "DESY Bistro" in your navi to find the precise location on campus. You must pass through security gates at the front entrance.
- Driving is the easiest way to arrive, with plenty of parking available. We will send a map of the DESY campus a few days prior to the event.
- Public transportation: Bus 1 to DESY, or Bus 1 or 3 to Luruper Chausee. 7-12 minute walk.
- Car hire: Moia and other taxi services. If they drop you off at the front gate, it's a 5-minute walk to the Bistro building.
- Carpool: Please let us know if you'd like help arranging a carpool with other attendees.
