The Embassy comes to Hamburg on April 26! Register by April 19. 

The U.S. Embassy in Berlin will offer consular services in Hamburg on April 26 for U.S. citizens seeking to renew their passports and/or obtain Consular Reports of Birth Abroad for their minor children born outside of the United States.  Appointments will be held at the U.S. Consulate General Hamburg's Hafen City location. Appointments will be available between 9:00-15:00. Please bring a picture ID and note that no electronics can be brought into the Consulate building (small electronics like cell phones may be left at the security checkpoint).

Appointment numbers are limited and will be assigned in the order requests are received.  The cutoff date for appointment requests is April 19, 2024.

Please note that they have transitioned to online prepayment for all services. Once your appointment is confirmed, you will receive instructions for making payment on pay.gov via credit card, PayPal, or Amazon Pay.  If you cannot pay with one of these methods,  your application will not be accepted.
