  Kunst und Gewerbe of\nMKG (Museum of Art and Design) in 2020, Julia Meer w
 as dismayed to discover that only a scant\n1.5% of the artists represented 
 in the collection she oversaw were by women. Among her first\nacquisitions 
 for the museum was the entire oeuvre of the Guerilla Girls, the anonymous a
 ctivist\ngroup which has been fighting sexism and racism in the art world t
 hrough posters, billboards, books\nand public appearances since 1985. Meer 
 is currently showing these works in her first exhibition at\nthe museum, al
 ong with other examples of feminist graphic design and outstanding works by
  women\nfrom the collection. She has graciously agreed to give AWCH a perso
