LOCATION:Use the VOTE link above!
DESCRIPTION:Our Natural Environment: Empowering Women and Girls to Ensure a Sustainable
Future\nHelp Choose FAWCO's Target Project 2023-2025! Every three years FA
WCO member clubs choose a new target project to support together and thus i
ncrease the impact.  Three projects within the category Environment have be
en shortlisted for the 2023-2025 Target Project.\nPlease review the informa
tion provided below and then cast your vote using the VOTE link at the bott
om.  FAWCO is offering a Zoom call on Feb.1 at 12:00 p.m. to learn more abo
ut the different projects.  Register here (https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/
 register/tZckduygqzksEtGhJqIE-ulGzMRofsyVfZX3).\n\nDeadline to cast your vo
te: Monday, February 13, at 12:00 noon CET.\nOur FAWCO Rep will tally the b
allots and the project receiving the most votes will get AWCH's vote.  The
Target Project will be announced at FAWCO's Biennial Conference in March.\n
 \nProject 1: Awesome Blossoms               \nOrganization: Safe Spaces\nLo
cation: Nairobi, Kenya\nEdible Fresh Fields for Sustainable Life in the Slu
ms.\nAwesome Blossoms is the latest evolution of a community-based organiza
tion, Safe Spaces, created by Mrs. Peninah Nthenya Musyimi. This project fe
atures an organic, water-efficient urban farm project for 75 women in partn
ership with three primary schools located in the Mathare slum area of Nairo
bi.\nFor more information, see here (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vZYl5

tion: Caribbean Coral Restoration Center (CCRC)\nLocation: Solarte Island,
Bocas del Toro Archipelago, Panama\nEmpowering Indigenous Women Through Cor
al Restoration.\nCCRC created its Love for the Sea project to restore the f
ragile coral ecosystem in the region by building an indoor seed bank and co
ral breeding laboratory and to foster economic empowerment by employing the
local indigenous Ngäbe people in its activities. A key feature of the proj
ect: constructing a new, indoor seed bank lab to replace the outdoor breedi
ng facility (vulnerable to damage during inclement weather), thereby dramat
ically increasing the capacity to raise coral seedlings for transplant. The
organization depends upon a savvy mix of locally based staff and volunteer
s.\nFor more information see here. (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1z_aSZJ
 O4bUlXwHe4tN3cwPIMd_hzD7oF/view)\n\nProject 3: Wing Womann Lebanon (WWL)\nO
rganization: Stand for Women (SfW)\nLocation: Lebanon\nStand for Women (SfW
), through their project Wing Woman Lebanon (WWL), seeks to reduce waste in
Lebanese landfills and address (menstrual) period poverty by producing and
distributing affordable and reusable feminine hygiene pads as well as reus
able diapers to vulnerable families. A large part of their distribution wil
l take place during community training sessions.\nFor more information go h
