 n for members of the AWCH QuiltMakers.&nbsp; We make Baby Quilts from upcyc
 led materials provided by Hanseatic Help.&nbsp; The quilts are given to new
  parents in need, along with 67 other things they need for the baby’s first
  year, in a “Hello Baby” bag.&nbsp; These are the same Hello Baby bags the 
 AWCH supports through the FAWCO Development grant our club just won.<br /><
 br />To join our group, first please contact Andrea M (see contact info bel
 ow)&nbsp;or via What’s App - we are in the AWCH What’s App Community.&nbsp;
  You can learn to sew and quilt as part of this group - you do not need exp
 erience, just the desire and motivation to use crafting as a tool for good 
 in the world. (We also have fun and laugh a ton.)<br /><br />We generally h
 ave three bees each month - two weekdays and one weekend day.&nbsp; You can
  come to as many or few as you wish, or even work entirely at home. The tim
 e listed is like an Open House.&nbsp; You are not expected to stay the whol
 e time, but you could.<br /><br />If you have a sewing machine and can brin
 g it, please do.&nbsp; There are also four machines available you can learn
 /work on.&nbsp; All materials are provided.&nbsp; Bring your favorite littl
 e scissors to snip threads and a little something yummy to share.</span></p
