S ynopse

Two lovers on the run: an anarchic Western, which makes playf ul fun of the genre and creates new legends. At the end of the 19th century , Buffalo Bill is in Italy with his Wild West Show. A competition between B ill’s cowboys and the local herdsmen, the »Butteri«, ends with the death of a nobleman. The young widow Rosa then flees with Santino, the victorious I talian cowboy, who is now a murder suspect. When Santino becomes the symbol of an uprising of local revolutionaries, a bizarre story begins, a story o f freedom that interweaves European and American tales.
