e brunch to celebrate our club with old and new friends!
Welcome the spring and
share laughter and good food with your AWCH friends! We have organiz
ed a lovely brunch for our members at the Horizon Restaurant (Marriot Court
yard). The dress code will be "Spring Attire" -- open to your own interpret
ation.
Please sign up now!
We will start the m
orning with a glass of prosecco or an alcohol-free cocktail. The brunch fea
tures cereals / pastries / cold starters (salads, cheese, cold cuts an
d ham specialties) / soup / warm breakfast dishes (scrambled eggs and
sausage) and main entrees (meat, fish, and vegetarian/vegan) / and dessert
s. Coffee, tea, and juice are included. Please indicate when si
gning up if you have any food allergies or restrictions.
Because this
event is taking the place of our annual Holiday Party, we will channel the
holiday spirit with a spring gift exchange. Please bring a small f
loral bouquet or potted plant to be given away to another member a
s part of our “Spring Chicken” exchange. Feel free to use
anything you have in your home as a vase or flowerpot, from an heirloom to
a mason jar, but spend no more than 10 euros on anything you buy. Be as cre
ative as you like - you’ll receive something festive for your own home
in exchange. Same goes for the "Spring Attire" dress
code: be creative and interpret it as you like!
Cost: €23, which includes the full brun
ch, welcome drink, coffee, tea, and juice (as well as the tip.). Please not
e this is subsidized with money reserved from last year's Holiday Party, wh
ich was cancelled due to COVID-19. Payment: Money sh
ould be transferred at the time of registration to the AWCH bank account (I
BAN: DE75 2069 0500 0000 9117 71) with the reference “Spring Brunch”.
Deadline for payment is May 7.
Persons with COVID-19-typical dis
ease symptoms or with direct contact with a person suffering from COVID-19
are asked to stay home. FFP2 masks are required when entering the fac
ilities and in the banquet room but not when seated. The Spri
ng Brunch is for members only. We will be collecting item to help refugees f
leeing the war in Ukraine via Hanseatic Help. A list of things needed
will be sent out before the event. CANCELLATION POLICY: You h
ave until Friday, May 6 to cancel your attendance without being charged. Af
ter this date, or in the event of a no show, you will still be required to
pay the full amount unless a substitute is found. By attending
this AWCH event, there is a possibility that you will appear in group photo
s used on our digital channels and/or in our printed material. If you have
