“Tea is drunk to forget the din of the world” (Ancient Chinese Proverb on the Meßmer’s Website)… so if you wish to have a quiet and relaxing afternoon with a cup of tea, some sandwiches or cake, the tea lounge Meßmer Momentum in the Hafencity is the place to go. However, we did not really have a quiet time at the New Members’ Tea Time on March 2! In fact, the conversation was very lively as you probably can imagine when 19 women get together ... nor did we take the time to have a closer look at the lovely Meßmer tea museum (don’t miss it if you happen to be there). The conversation was just too interesting. We were delighted that the new members Cynthia, Ines and Kate, prospective member Melissa (who since joined the Club, welcome, Melissa!) and guests Mathilde, Meredtih, Miriam and Monika joined us. President Vicki and Membership Chair Brenda attended as did Becky (who took the photos), Christa, Coppelia, Gudrun, Liz, Salesa, Silke and Thelma. Before we left we were given a small package with three tea bags of our choice from the tea shop. Thank you, Meßmer Momentum, also for a very enjoyable afternoon. http://www.messmer-momentum.de.
