Applying to Become a Member

Club Year: January 1 through December 31
Annual Dues: 45€ per year (Please note that membership dues are to be paid in January. New members pay the full amount at the time of joining. Club dues are NOT prorated.). The digital version of our club magazine Currents is included in the membership dues. If you would like a printed version sent to you, please include a payment of 5€ per year with your membership dues.

You may apply in one of two ways:

• Download the membership application, print both pages and fill them out, and (snail) mail them to our Membership Chairwoman (address is included on the form). The application is available as a Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF document: Microsoft Word | Adobe PDF

Your request will usually be processed within a week and you’ll receive an email with further details. In order to protect the rights of our members, the information on this form will not be given out or used for any commercial purposes.

Membership dues are 45€ per year to be paid in January by each member. New members pay at the time they register. Membership dues are not prorated.

• Celebrate US holidays from 4th of July to Thanksgiving

• Access our internal Facebook membership group
• Attend and vote at our Annual General Meeting (AGM) in January
• Attend open Board Meetings several times a year
• Have a ready-made social connection to others worldwide through automatic FAWCO membership with access to website, Facebook group and all events

Ultimate responsibility for all decisions regarding application for membership rests with the board, whose rulings are binding. After the board has approved your application, you will be asked to transfer the membership dues to our bank account. Your membership becomes effective when we have received BOTH your membership form AND your payment. We accept payment by bank transfer (Überweisung) only.

After approval through the Membership Chairwoman please transfer your yearly dues of 45€ including your full name to our bank account:
