• Alene P, a survivor of breast cancer herself, recommends http://www.kiss-hh.de/ (Kontakt und Informationsstellen für Selbsthilfegruppen) for information about self-help groups in the Hamburg area. This website is in German.



• Mary W recommends http://www.breastcare4women.com/. She says that other websites tell you to do self-examination every month, but this website actually tells you what time in your cycle will give the most accurate results, and will send you a monthly e-mail reminder.



• The website http://www.bcaction.org/ won the People's Choice in the health category in the Webby Awards for 2002.
