A relatively new group, Mixed Doubles is just what the name suggests: couples who come from two different nationalities, living in Germany. Pairs have found they share many of the same issues that come from the merging of two cultures, whether in raising children, furnishing an apartment, career issues, shopping, entertaining, in-laws, etc... We plan to meet about once a month in a variety of venues, but mostly for dinner at some good Hamburg restaurants. Some other ideas include cocktail parties, pot-luck dinners, dancing, and game night. Husbands and mates are definitely part of the fun, so don't be shy. Initiation for new couples will be to tell the story of how you and your partner met!
